My Approach
Megan’s approach to counseling is one of honesty and respect for others. As a journalist, she loved hearing and helping people tell their stories. Megan hopes to carry this love of others’ life journeys into the counseling profession, as she helps people feel truly seen and respectfully hear their stories. Her goal is for others to feel safe enough to be vulnerable and not to feel judged. As someone who has experienced grief, trauma, cross-cultural ministry, and the joys and challenges of motherhood, she understands that pain and resilience can and do often co-exist. Megan’s counseling style is relational and integrative. She plans to draw from evidence-based practices while honoring the spiritual beliefs and values that give clients meaning and hope.
