Credentials
Keli is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). She is EMDR-trained and specializes in trauma-informed care and substance use treatment. Her clinical experience includes working with adults navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, and relational challenges across outpatient and recovery-focused settings.
Education
Keli holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Her undergraduate degree is in Biblical Studies from Southern Christian University.
Specialties
Keli works with adults navigating trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, relational wounds, and spiritual identity concerns. Many of her clients are high-functioning individuals who carry unresolved pain beneath the surface—often shaped by early family dynamics, church environments, or deeply internalized beliefs.
Having grown up in the church herself, Keli understands the complexity of faith, doubt, identity, and religious expectations. She works with adults who are wrestling with spiritual confusion, religious trauma, or the tension between who they were taught to be and who they are becoming. She creates space for clients to examine their beliefs honestly—without shame, pressure, or imposed answers.
Keli is affirming and supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals and understands the unique challenges that can arise at the intersection of faith, identity, and belonging. Her counseling space is grounded, respectful, and inclusive.
Using EMDR and trauma-informed therapy, Keli helps adults process painful experiences, untangle long-standing emotional patterns, and rebuild a sense of safety within themselves. She believes healing involves reclaiming both psychological stability and personal authenticity—on each client’s own terms.
Outside of counseling, Keli enjoys being active, investing in personal development, and building environments that feel grounded and inspiring. She believes growth is lifelong andapproaches both her work and her personal life with intention and curiosity.
