Ann Marie is thrilled to support Sanctuary Counseling as their Development Coordinator. “It feels exciting to shift gears and focus on strengthening relationships, supporting fundraising efforts, and helping move the mission forward from a different perspective. I’m grateful for my journey so far and can’t wait to dive into this next chapter.”

She is certified in Business Essentials for Nonprofit Organizations from Wake Forest University, equipping her with strong leadership and operational foundations to support mission-driven organizations like Sanctuary. Ann Marie previously served for nearly ten years as Executive Director and Development Lead at the Parkinson’s Association of the Carolinas. In that role, she led fundraising strategy, cultivated donor and community partnerships, and advanced organizational growth initiatives. Her tenure was marked by strategic development efforts and a commitment to expanding impact across the region.

Ann Marie brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to her role as Development Coordinator at Sanctuary Counseling Group. She is passionate about advancing the organization’s mission and ensuring that fundraising efforts make quality mental health services accessible to anyone who seeks them. Her professional expertise, combined with her personal belief in the life-changing impact of therapy, fuels her commitment to strengthening community support and expanding access to care.
