About the speaker:
Travis Jeffords is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. He holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary, and has worked for almost 15 years in local church settings. Travis Jeffords is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, and National Certified Counselor. Travis works on staff as a licensed counselor at Sanctuary Counseling Group, and has led contemporary worship for the United Methodist church for the last 15 years. Travis completed his Masters in Science with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNCG, and has an MDiv from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. Travis also spent time as a hospital Chaplain intern in the Indiana University Hospital System, and holds an undergraduate degree in Music Composition from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

This wonderful group asked Melanie to come and speak about the importance of mental health vitality within the BIPOC community. The event is set for Wednesday, October 19th at 7 pm, during their weekly meeting. Weekly meetings are open to the public.
